Have you checked https://community.oracle.com/thread/1678101. It is ancient, I know, but at least it could be a workaround...

Cheers

Dear All,

For many years, many people and many Teams made attempts to create Binding component and service engine or add features to OpenESB. Some succeeded and some failed.
So, since the OpenESB directory is a community directory, you could find many projects uncompleted or bugged. EJB BC was one of them. EJB BC is not supported by the main sponsors and developers of the community and as far as I remember, he never worked correctly.
I will not repeat my favourite speech on the JEE component and OpenESB, the integration and the transaction, but the successful projects are often the ones able to make a difference between integration and transaction services.
Yana2016, don’t try to access to EJB through the EJB BC that is not supported nor maintained, but use the SOAP or REST API to do it. You will take advantage to access to your transaction system in a standard protocol.
Best Regards
Paul
